New Jersey Devils 2022 Wine Pairing: L.A. Cetto Petite Sirah 2017
Wine Notes
“Value for money” are three words that describe this Petite Sirah from Baja California, Mexico. You can find L.A. Cetto Petite Sirah 2017 at the LCBO for $13.95 CAD. This is a medium bodied wine that will have a hint of smokiness to it. The New Jersey Devils are underdogs upon first glance, just like L.A. Cetto Petite Sirah 2017, but if you dedicate some time to the team and this wine you will find out that there is a lot more substance to both of them.
L.A. Cetto Petite Sirah 2017 is a wonderful wine at a great price. It builds off of the New Jersey Devil’s 2021 pairing, and is a great option for afternoon Sangria. If you have any snobby guests showing up for the game, be sure to pour it into a decanter before they arrive and surprise them with the grape, location, and price point when they compliment the quality of the wine!

Team Notes
The New Jersey Devils are one of the youngest teams in the league. If they are able to make a push into the playoffs it will be the result of having a “value for money” team. Despite being well below the salary cap, the Devil’s will have some big names in their line-up including first overall draft pick Nico Hischier, Thomas Tatar, American born D-man Dougie Hamilton, and NHL All-Star P.K. Subban. Expectations may not be high for the Devil’s this year or L.A. Cetto Petite Sirah 2017, but for those who believe in them, every night will be an opportunity to upset the doubters.
Cheers!
