Arizona Coyotes 2022 Wine Pairing: Château Belles Eaux Les Coteaux Grenache Blanc 2020
Wine Notes
Grenache is a drought resistant grape that is often turned into a red wine, but , a white Grenache… That’s odd, sort of like hockey in the Arizona desert. Here’s the thing, as odd as it may be, it actually works and the end result has been a generational superstar Auston Matthews. This year, enjoy a glass of Château Belles Eaux Les Coteaux Grenache Blanc 2020 a light and crisp whine from Languedoc, France that will quench your thirst while you watch the Coyotes. Pick up a bottle at the LCBO for $14.95 in the Vintages Section.

Team Notes
Is the desert where NHL veterans go to die? Shane Doan started the trend, but the list is long… Mike Gartner, Jeremy Roenick, Claude Lemieux, Phil Kessel, and yes, even Wayne Gretzky as an owner and coach. But there is life after the Coyotes, just ask Taylor Hall. The Arizona Coyotes are probably not going to make a push for the playoffs, and there will be a lot of speculation about a potential move to Quebec City, but when all is said and done there is NHL hockey in the desert and as weird as that may be, it should be embraced and celebrated.
