Montreal Canadiens 2022 Wine Pairing: Pyrène Côtes de Gascogne Cuvée Marine
Wine notes
Le tricolore: Bleu, Blanc, et Rouge is instantaneously recognizable as the Montreal Canadiens. Pyrène Côtes de Gascogne Cuvée Marine is just as identifiable as le tricolore is prominent on this bottle of wine’s neck and cap. This wine is unique as it is a true Atlantic Climate wine and combines three traditional French grapes of Colombard, Gros Manseng, and Sauvignon Blanc resulting in a very enjoyable fruity and vibrant experience.

Team notes
Last year the Montreal Canadiens went on a playoff run 10 years in the making, but their dreams of bringing a Stanley Cup back home to Montreal were spoiled by the defending Cup champions, Tampa Bay. The essence of the Stanley Cup team will be present on the Habs roster this year, but there will be a notable absence on the blue line this year as the career of world-class defenceman Shae Weber looks to be over.
This year will be a test for GM Marc Bergevin and Head Coach Dominic Ducharme. Their futures with the organization will be determined by the players ability to make a deep push in the playoffs for the second year in a row. One thing is for certain, all eyes will be on les bleu, blanc, et rouge to see if they can repeat last year’s success or if they will have the same fate as the 2006 Edmonton Oilers.
