Buffalo Sabres Facts

Gilbert Perreault is a Buffalo Sabres legend. He played for the team from their inaugural season (1970-71) to retirement after the 1986-87 season. Perreault holds several Sabres records including Most Games Played (1,191), Most Goals Scored (512), and Most Assists (814). Perreault’s jersey number – 11 – wast the first to be retired by the Sabres on October 17, 1990.
