2023 Eastern Conference Round 1: Maple Leafs vs. Lightning

Bachelder Lowrey Vineyard Old Vines Pinot Noir 2020

VS.

Cave Spring Pinot Noir

Tale of the Tape:

The Leafs and Lightning are back at it in the first round of the playoffs for the second year in a row. Last year the series went to Game 7, with the Bolts winning the series on the road in Toronto.

Hockey WineUp Prediction:

Hockey WineUp is choosing Bachelder Lowrey Vineyard Old Vines Pinot Noir 2020 to win the first round match up. Cave Spring has been a leader in VQA wines from Niagara, but the winemaking skill of Thomas Bachelder results in a very special wine.
