This year Adamo Estate Wines will be paired with the Florida Panthers, Anaheim Ducks, Nashville Predators, Dallas Stars, San Jose Sharks, and the Vancouver Canucks.

Out of Place?
If there’s one thing we know about the teams in Florida, Nashville, and Dallas, it is that they work! At first glance hockey in these areas may not make sense, but the people of these communities have turned into hard-core fans and have some of the greatest hockey traditions in the league including celebrating success with rats (Florida) and throwing a catfish on the ice (Nashville).
Toronto Wine Country?
Something to remember about Canadian wine growing and making is that it is still in its infancy. The first commercial vineyards to produce commercial vintages started in 1977 because of the impact of prohibition era policy. Niagara is the historic wine region but, the rapid growth of technology, innovation, entrepreneurship and knowledge has resulted in the growth of grape growing and wine making in non-traditional Ontario regions – queue up Adamo Estate Winery.
Why it works
Adamo Estate Winery takes a terroir-focused approach that reflects a respect for the environment, climate and region. The use of cool climate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir as principal varietals, combined with other proven Ontario grape varietals, Riesling, Gamay Noir and Vidal and other hearty varietals that can handle the weather extremes of both hot and cold -Chardonnay Musqué, Marechal Foch means that the winemakers are working with vines and fruit that compliment the climate and terroir.
Another growing trend for winemakers in Ontario is to source grapes from other vineyards and Adamo Estate Winery does this to be able to highlight the strengths of their winemaker, Shauna White. As a small-batch boutique winery, Adamo Estate uses the best fruit from their estate and some of the top growers in Ontario.
