Bailly Lapierre Réserve Brut Crémant de Bourgogne
The St. Louis Blues enter the 2024 season looking to replicate their 2019 Stanley Cup winning performance, despite being in a bit of a rebuild. The Blues’ roster is composed of lesser known names, so this year they are paired with a lesser known style of sparkling wine.

Champagne is the traditional celebratory beverage of champions, but what should you drink if you are thinking about a championship but haven’t won yet?
Crémant
Bailly Lapierre Réserve Brut Crémant de Bourgogne will provide a bubbly and balanced wine option for thinking about the 2019 cup win and kicking up your feet on Sunday afternoons while watching the St. Louis Blues on TV.
*note – Crémant is a Hockey WineUp go to wine because it is consistently delicious and cost effective alternative to Champagne. Plus, Crémant is a wonderful wine for any cocktail that requires a splash (or dump) of Champagne ie. French 75 or Aperol Spritz.
Wine Description
From the winery:
A blend of the Appellation’s four grape varieties (Pinot Noir,
Chardonnay, Gamay, Aligoté)*, the wine is congenial, rounded and
full, with a varied bouquet. A thirst-quencher, it is our easiest drinking Crémant, clearcut, clean with a lovely freshness.
*The composition of the assemblage is given for information purposes only and can vary according to the vintage.
