Pittsburgh Penguins 2022 Wine Pairing: Bordeaux Futures

Wine Notes

We don’t know this for sure, but we can be be pretty confident that Mario Lemieux does not buy his wine shopping at the local bottle shop down the street. Our guess is that he buys directly from the world’s top vineyards and producers. Thinking about the future is a how you build a hockey team and your wine collection.

Like the Penguins, now is the time to start thinking about the future and you can do this by spending some money for wines that won’t be released for a couple of years. Investing in Bordeaux Futures is the best way to access quality wine to keep for the distant future or drink when it arrives in a couple of years.

Team Notes

The Penguins are starting their training camp without Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin. From a management perspective, Brian Burke and Ron Hextall will be looking towards the future and how to build a team that will be ready to compete for the Stanley Cup in 5-10 years. Now is the time to invest in the future for the Pittsburgh Penguins and you can join in on the fun by exploring LCBO’s Bordeaux Futures!

Cheers!
